About Christine E. Lynn

Simply stated, the world is a better place because of Christine E. Lynn, and her unyielding energy in the support of others. Today, she is the Chair of the Boca Raton Regional Hospital’s Board of Trustees and remains one of the country’s leading philanthropists. She has been a champion of the Hospital for more than a generation. Her extraordinary generosity through the years has helped create the Eugene M. & Christine E. Lynn Cancer Institute, Christine E. Lynn Heart & Vascular Institute, Christine E. Lynn Women’s Health & Wellness Institute, and the Hospital’s Clinical Research Center, among other critical services. Five years ago, underscoring her impact on the lives of so many, she was awarded the prestigious Ellis Island Medal of Honor, given to a distinguished American citizen who exemplifies a life dedicated to community service. Past medalists include six US Presidents among others. Now, Ms. Lynn has made another extraordinary gift to the Keeping the Promise capital campaign.

Thank you, as always, Christine, for a lifetime of generosity and your relentless efforts on behalf of the Hospital.

“I first joined the Boca Regional board in 1988, because I saw the urgent healthcare needs of our area. I remember my first gift here, in memory of my husband, was toward the heart and vascular institute. It is gratifying to know lives have been saved or enhanced because of some effort I made. But I am certainly not alone here philanthropically. What we need to do as a healthcare presence cannot be achieved without a team who genuinely cares, and we are fortunate to have that at Boca Raton Regional Hospital.”
