Off-Campus Emergency Department

To better meet the needs of our growing community, a new Emergency Care center is coming to West Boca’s Mission Bay Plaza. The center, which will stay open round-the-clock, seven days a week, will feature on-site services that include X-rays, CT scans, ultrasounds, respiratory infections, stroke and wound care. Our medical experts from the Wold Family Center for Emergency Medicine will diagnose and treat the same types of emergencies typically seen in a hospital emergency department—including stroke and heart attack. Our services are more comprehensive than those typically offered by urgent care centers, which usually do not have advanced imaging services or emergency-trained nurses.
